CELESOIRÉE
THANKS to all who joined ILAP at our 6th annual CeleSoirée: Celebrating Immigration through the Arts event, an evening of fun and fundraising to benefit ILAP's work for Maine's immigrants!
This year's event was our best ever, as nearly 600 people helped us raise nearly $40,000 to support ILAP's critically needed services, while enjoying a fabulous gallery space, INTERNATIONAL CUISINE from many of greater Portland's wonderful restaurants, LIVE African drumming by Jordan Benissan and Middle Eastern rhythms by Okbari, and a SILENT AUCTION, with photographs, paintings, fiber arts, jewelry and more, donated by over 100 Maine artists and businesses.
