What the election means for your immigration status and legal rights:

Many people have questions about what the election means for their immigration status and legal rights. We won't know what President-Elect Trump will do when he takes office on January 20, 2017. He may not do all the things he talked about. ILAP will follow what is happening closely, and share important immigration updates. We will continue to work with local and national partners to advocate for the rights of Maine's immigrant community and our clients.

During the month of September ONLY, ILAP will not be seeing new clients, except those with immigration emergencies. We WILL see anyone who already has an appointment scheduled during the month. Starting October 3, anyone inquiring about services can call for an appointment, 780-1593, but we are unable to schedule any appointments during September.
This annual month to work on existing cases is necessary to provide the high quality service we are known for in the often complicated forum of immigration law. Thank you for understanding.
