Education & Outreach
To maximize our reach, ILAP offers accurate, accessible and timely information on legal issues to immigrant communities and service providers across the state. Available in several languages, materials and know-your-rights presentations aim to counteract incomplete or inaccurate information and prevent complications that may negatively affect legal status or lead to exploitation or deportation.
Our educational outreach work also strengthens the resiliency of Maine’s immigrant and refugee communities and builds on their power to respond to new challenges that may arise in the future.
