Know Your Rights: Red Cards

Red cards are small, two-sided cards that help people exercise their rights and protect themselves when interacting with immigration enforcement.

TO PRINT CARDS YOURSELF:

You can access templates in various languages on the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC) website.

HERE ARE SOME TIPS FOR PRINTING YOUR OWN CARDS:

  • Cards are formatted as 3.5” by 2” business cards and should be printed on cardstock or other heavy paper for durability.

  • Cards are meant to be double-sided — one side in the language the person speaks, and one side in English for use when interacting with immigration or law enforcement. If you're unable to print on both sides, the template makes it possible to fold in half to make a 2-sided card.
