ILAP is incorporated by the State of Maine and is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a §501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and not a private foundation. Our EIN is 22-3260883 (see our 501(c)3 Determination Letter).
2025 FinaNcial Information
For transparency and accountability to our donors and supporters, ILAP undergoes annual external audits. The following information is from audited financial statements for January 1, 2025 - December 31, 2025:
*In-kind Contributions and Program expenses include the value of donated pro bono attorney time.
**ILAP experienced a large surplus in 2025 due to increased donations during a time of heightened immigration enforcement activity. We hired new positions later in the year to address the increased demand for services.
