There are lots of ways you can support ILAP’s work with Maine’s immigrant communities!

You can help raise critical funds for our legal programs and introduce ILAP to new audiences by hosting a house party, planning a community event, or launching a Facebook Fundraiser. Below are some ideas and tools to get started or contact us to learn more.

Host a house party

Introduce your friends, neighbors, and colleagues to ILAP by hosting a casual gathering at your home. You can share why ILAP is important to you and invite your guests to join you in showing their support. An ILAP staff or Board member may be able to join your event depending on location and availability. Use our House Party Toolkit to put together your plan!

Plan a COMMUNITY Fundraiser

Organize an event, ranging from a gallery opening to a 5k to a chef’s dinner, with proceeds going to ILAP! ILAP can provide informational materials and may be able to arrange for a staff or Board member to attend your event depending on location and availability. Learn more in our Community Fundraiser Toolkit!

Create a Facebook Fundraiser

Donate your birthday, honor a loved one, or take on a challenge, all in the name of advancing justice for immigrants in Maine. Activating your social network helps ILAP tell our story and encourages donations towards our mission. Visit our Facebook Fundraiser page to get started!
