In the October issue of Amjambo Africa, ILAP provides information about the recent “public charge” rule change, which is translated into multiple languages, and explains its potential impact. ILAP continues to provide regular updates on the legal needs and process for asylum seekers in Maine. Maine Public Radio follows up on the legal status of the asylum seekers who stayed in the Portland Expo Center this summer.
