For three decades, ILAP has been working to build a world where systems are rooted in justice and where everyone belongs and thrives. This October, we marked our 30th anniversary with hundreds of supporters of Maine’s immigrant justice movement.

This summer ILAP hosted three interns, two through our new Racial Justice Fellowship program and one through the Goodwill VISTA Summer Associates program. Summer intern Emmy Tinkham reflects on her summer and highlights the other interns’ experinces.
Through ILAP’s Rural Maine Project, Forms Program, and new online resource library, ILAP is expanding access to justice for immigration across Maine.
ILAP’s Asylum Assistance and Legal Orientation Project (AALOP) is expanding ILAP’s capacity to serve more people in need of asylum assistance through monthly community asylum workshops.
