CeleSoirée 2026
“The event was a positive high energy celebration of ILAP, a true gem of our community and state. I enjoyed meeting many people behind ILAP and the necessary work they do.”

After a multi-year hiatus, ILAP’s signature event, CeleSoirée, returned this May at Ocean Gateway in Portland. A celebration of Maine’s immigrant communities and the collective of organizations working alongside them, CeleSoirée provided a chance to reflect on the past year’s accomplishments in the face of the administration’s attacks, while looking ahead to what’s next.
This CeleSoirée, ILAP featured five local organizations working alongside immigrant communities across Maine. Representatives from each organization attended the event and had the chance to interact with attendees. Through Fund-Sharing, a program ILAP launched to celebrate this collective work, 30% of the event’s net proceeds were distributed equally among the five partner organizations: Empowered Immigrant Women Unite!, Furniture Friends, Maine Multicultural Center, Maine Solidarity Fund, and Trinity Jubilee Center.
CeleSoirée would not be possible without our sponsors. Thank you to every business and organization whose support made the evening happen.
